100% Natural Mother & Baby Barrier Balm
An all-purpose balm that is gentle but effective in protecting, nourishing and healing mother & baby's skin. Aids healing of dry, irritated skin, nappy rash and eczema. Also useful for cracked or chapped skin, abrasions and other minor skin irritations. Can be gently massaged into breasts and sore nipples. Helps in the prevention and treatment of stretch marks. Essential addition to your baby bag.
No preservatives used so one therefore needs to store tightly capped and keep the balm out of direct heat or sun exposure (such as on window sill). This will prolong the effectiveness of the essential oils. This product has a shelf life of roughly 1-2 years if stored correctly.
Ingredients:
Extra virgin olive oil (softens and soothes irritated skin, rich in proteins and minerals)
Castor oil (moisturizing and lubricating, rich in fatty acids)
Rice bran oil (rich in Vitamin E, penetrates skin easily)
Cold pressed sunflower seed oil (a light oil rich in Vitamin A & E, leaves a 'second skin')
Beeswax (a natural wax used to thicken the oils)
Cape chamomile (anti-inflammatory properties, pain relieving, soothing and relaxing)
A very mild dose of lavender (soothing, healing) and tea tree oil (anti-fungal, anti-bacterial)
Mandarin (skin toner)
